The second annual DMV Proton Radiotherapy Symposium will be held on October 25th at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute in Fairfax VA. The DMV area is fortunate to have an unusually high concentration of proton therapy centers, covering a broad range of different types of proton systems from different vendors. The goal of this annual symposium is to stimulate collaboration and exchange of ideas between these institutions and beyond. The inaugural event, held last year at Georgetown University, was a smashing success. Anyone with interest in proton therapy who would like to attend, either in-person or virtually, please see the contact information and registration link below. CME credit will be granted for physicists and dosimetrists, and food and drink will be provided. building, located on the second floor of Tower 8.
Free parking is available on the Inova Center for Personalized
Health campus in Garage E or Surface Lot F.
From Gallows Rd, enter from either the Main Entrance then turn
right, or enter from the South Entrance and follow the road to
parking.
