MAC-AAPM 2015 Annual Meeting
October 2-3 (Friday – Saturday), 2015
The 2015 annual meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter will be held at the Legg Mason Tower, in Harbor East on Baltimore waterfront on October 2nd and 3rd (Friday & Saturday). The organizing committee has assembled great topics and speakers for this meeting and we hope you will join us for 2 days of engaging talks and excellent opportunity for professional networking!
With topics of current interest to the clinical medical-physics community and well-known invited speakers from leading institutions, we expect that this year’s annual meeting will both be relevant and exciting to our member community. We will also continue our tradition this year with the Young Investigator Symposium. Please encourage students, postdocs, and residents from your institution to participate in this symposium. In addition to the recognition, there will be monetary award given to best investigators. This year we wanted to highlight the medical physics related advancements happening within the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Sort of a “What’s up in the MAC Chapter?” theme. We have invited members from the University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Georgetown University, University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University and the National Cancer Institute to provide detailed highlights of the activities at their institutions. We are also encouraging proffered abstracts that highlight unique contributions to Medical Physics from our chapter members.
