Prof. Prado is widely recognized as an accomplished medical physicist possessing significant clinical experience: American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified since 1987, American College of Radiology (ACR) Fellowship awarded in 2009, American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Fellowship awarded in 2012. He has been an acknowledged technical leader in the establishment of the Radiation Oncology practices and implementation of new clinical technologies such as 4DCT and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Optically-Stimulated Luminescence Dosimetry at University of Maryland. He established the Central Maryland Radiation Oncology Center (CMRO), and has expanded the radiation oncology practice at Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC). In recognition of these achievements, he was awarded the Quality Management Award in 1995, and Outstanding Leadership Award for Clinical Service in 2005. Prof. Prado’s research interests include incorporation of multi-modality functional information into treatment planning, developing techniques to assess treatment response, motion management, and advanced treatment delivering techniques.

Free parking is available next to the cancer center.
Direction: From I-95, take Exit 54 off I-95 (Hanover Street). As you cross Hanover Street Bridge you should see the hospital complex across the river on your left. Turn left at Cherry Hill Road or Reedbird Avenue. The conference room is just inside this entrance (see the picture on the right). DO NOT use the main MedStar hospital entrance, use the entrance in the picture instead.
